I started creating images on January 7th 2017. That sounds odd, but it happened unexpectedly and I’ve never stopped since. Because it’s something I can’t live without, it nourishes me. I think that taking photographs helps me retrace that state of perpetual wonder from illo tempore, may that be early childhood or some sort of previous existence, who can tell? There is unsuspected beauty in muddy decors, decaying buildings, the sky, and the street you walk on each and every day. As one of Dostoyevsky’s most gentle characters put it, “I don’t know how one can walk by a tree and not be happy at the sight of it”.

I consider my work to be more conceptual rather than illustrative. I am in a permanent search for symbols, shapes, colors, patterns, and what can be called the essence of things.
